I am a physical therapist, pickleball and volleyball player.
My passion for the mechanics of the human body and importance of exercise, began in my youth. I played volleyball from the age of eleven and learned about the world of club volleyball starting at the age of twelve. I played volleyball throughout high school and played collegiate volleyball at Occidental College, where unfortunately repetitive and compounding injuries ended my volleyball career.
Years later, I discovered pickleball during the pandemic, finding it addicting. I appreciate its accessibility for everyday people, offering both social and competitive play. Having witnessed friends sustain injuries, I've been asked frequently to aid in their recovery. One of my goals is to teach pickleball players safe warm-up and cool-down routines so that they can play with confidence, remain injury free and continue to play the sport they love.
During each and every session I hope to provide my clients exceptional care, boost their confidence, explain body mechanics, and ultimately help them live a more active and healthy lifestyle.
